Former NHLer Tyson Nash shockingly revealed he got robbed $1.8 million, and another former NHLer Chris Pronger elaborated on what exactly happened.

Not everyone is lucky enough to say they make millions of dollars doing what it is they love every day, and professional athletes luckily fall into that group. They make so much money playing a game they love that they are able to provide everything for their families and friends. There are however, times where having all of that money is not a good thing, as people may try to take advantage of you and exploit you for all that you have, such as what has happened in the past to Sergei Fedorov and Jack Johnson.

Former member of the Arizona Coyotes and St. Louis Blues Tyson Nash unfortunately fell victim to the same fate as the other two players mentioned above, and former St. Louis Blues captain and Hall of Fame defenseman Chris Pronger explained in greater detail what Tyson had to go through, as it appears almost all of Nash's earnings were embezzled away by his financial manager.

Devastated to hear his financial advisor embezzled nearly all his savings. In deep depression, it was his wife Kathy who helped him put his work boots back on. They created a viable business and got back on their feet. Their story is an inspiration to us all. Bravo Nash's

«There was another one, Tyson Nash. You've probably never heard of it, I didn't know it either until he told me. He was incredibly embarrassed. His fund manager embezzled money from his bank account, stole money directly from his account. He thought he had more money than he actually did. He became depressed, not knowing what to do until his lovely wife Kathy shook him a bit and made him react,» Pronger said.

«He had a nice little nest egg of $2 million that he probably would have counted on and put to good use to live a comfortable life. Instead, I think he said he had $200,000 left in his bank account,» Pronger said.

Not all the news is bad, as Nash and his wife have turned the corner and pulled out of that very difficult situation. Pronger states that they are doing very well now and live a happy, comfortable life together.

«He did wonders, sold that business and the rest is Nash history,» Pronger said. «They are doing incredibly well, are very successful and have now figured out how to do business, bringing that determination and perseverance and toughness that he had while playing, and applied it to the business world. He and his wife are doing incredibly well and they are very proud of themselves.»

Nash played in 374 career NHL games, where he was able to score 27 goals and 37 assists. He was known more for his gritty physical play, as he racked up a whopping 673 penalty minutes.
