The Edmonton Oilers currently sit at 2-8-1 after a few weeks of action, and with their playoff hopes fading, it appears as though they're ready to make a blockbuster deal.
Now, the team have backed themselves into a corner, and their only answer is to make a blockbuster deal for a goaltender that could finally steal them some games and get them momentum this season.
This idea comes from ESPN's John Buccigross, and while it may be a deal that's impossible to make happen, Ullmark has been stellar this season, posting a 2.30 GAA and a .926 save percentage, and if the Oilers are serious about competing, giving up one of their biggest stars may be the way to do it.
