A famous Canadian hockey broadcaster is fed up with the diving going on in soccer, and has ripped into one of team Argentina's players.

Gord Miller, a staple name in hockey broadcasting, has seen enough with the diving and injury faking in the world of soccer. Miller claims that Argentinian midfielder Rodrigo de Paul put on a theatrical performance during the semifinal match against Canada of the Copa America.

As we've seen throughout some of the major soccer tournaments over time, there is a lot of diving and theatrics that goes on during games, and not much has been done to stop this, which is why it seems as though more and more players and teams are now engaging in this in the hopes of causing an opposing player to receive a match penalty.
Soccer fans, along with Gord Miller, have seen enough and fans have been taking to social media to voice their displeasure over these theatrical performances on the pitch. Below is a suggestion from a fan on how FIFA can deal with these situations:
FIFA should really implement what MLS has done when a player is "injured". If they remain on the ground for more than 15 seconds they have to exit the field following treatment and stay off for a minimum of 2 minutes until the next stoppage in play. It's made a noticeable difference in MLS matches.

Miller is hoping his voice will be a starting point for FIFA to take action and figure out ways to ban this type of behaviour. It will likely take more than just Miller's voice, as this issue that has been ongoing for so many years is unlikely to immediately stop.
