When Andreas Johnsson was drafted in the 7th round back in 2013 not many expected him to turn into an NHL player of any kind. Luckily for him, he beat the odds and went on to have a decent NHL career. Now it looks like his time in the world's best league may be over though.
Johnsson was drafted 202nd overall in 2013. He first made the NHL in the 2017-18 season and continued to play games in the league until last year, where he ended the season with 11 games for the San Jose Sharks. Over the course of his career he put up 259 games played, 48 goals, and 116 points. Most of his success came from the team that drafted him. His time in Toronto included 125 games, 30 goals and 67 points.
