Top NHL agent wants Gary Bettman gone following unacceptable comments
Gary Bettman, commissioner of the NHL, has just made a statement that has caught top agent Allan Walsh off guard, and he now wants Bettman gone.
Bettman has denied that repeated blows to the head can lead to chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), which is a very severe progressive degeneration of the cells inside the brain. Allan Walsh has seen and heard enough, and wants Bettman fired, or to step down immediately. Walsh believes that Bettman is putting all players at risk, and that he is embarrassing for the NHL.

As if Bettman wasn't embarrassing enough, his second in command Bill Daly continued to poke the bear even further.
Bill Daly also denies the link between head hits and CTE, claiming that "the science is lacking."
Bettman and Daly have lost a lot of credibility after these statements. Hopefully someone within the league will have some common sense to step in and do something about this major head injury condition. If people weren't fans of Bettman and Daly before this latest development, it's hard to imagine they have gained many friends now.
