Hoglander Fined Maximum Allowable for Slew-Foot
NHL Player Safety just announced the punishment for Nils Hoglander after he slew-footed San Jose's Kevin Labanc in yesterday's game. Hoglander will be fined the maximum allowable under the CBA for the dirty play.
Vancouver's Nils Hoglander has been fined $2,864.58, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for Slew-footing San Jose's Kevin Labanc.
Hoglander was ejected from the game for the slew-foot that occurred near the benches, as he was given a match penalty for an attempt to injure. Hoglander has registered 8 points in his 17 games played so far this season with the Canucks.
