Ilya Samsonov Addresses His Dismal Performance Against Florida
It certainly wasn't the result they were hoping for. In there first match-up against the Florida Panthers since being eliminated by the team in last year's playoffs, the Toronto Maple Leafs came up short with a 3-1 loss. Leaf goaltender Ilya Samsonov is blaming himself.

Samsonov did say he felt that his performance against Florida was better, but perhaps his eye sight needs some improvement.

It seems Toronto head coach Sheldon Keefe agrees with his netminder about the first two.
"Two goals come from distance. I'd like to see him find a way to get one of those for us, especially when the other guy at the other end is not giving you much"
