Tanner Pearson, unfortunately, could not produce on quite the same level that he did before his injuries in the past season with the Montreal Canadiens, garnering only 13 points in 54 games. However, his chances of a comeback in the league are not over, as he was extended another chance from a Western Conference powerhouse. The Vegas Golden Knights have signed Tanner Pearson to a PTO agreement, allowing him to try out for the team ahead of the upcoming NHL season.
Tanner Pearson has a respectable 138 goals and 285 points in his 644 career games. Additionally, when not recovering from an injury, he has shown he can produce at an even higher rate, with three 40-point seasons, and two more over 30. Hopefully, this 32-year-old forward can show that he still has what it takes to win in his tryout for the Vegas Golden Knights. If not, it could mean a troubled future in the NHL for Tanner Pearson.
