A new piece of information has come to light that potentially reveals whether or not the Edmonton Oilers will match Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg.

Over the last week, the Edmonton Oilers have been contemplating a major decision. Both Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg were offered restricted free-agent contracts by the St. Louis Blues.

Since then the Edmonton Oilers have been considered whether or not to match the contracts given to these players. Then within the last 24 hours the Oilers made a pair of trades to bring in Vasily Podkolzin and Ty Emberson to their roster.

After these moves with the deadline to match Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway's contracts approaching rapidly the Edmonton Oilers' decision might have just leaked.

New evidence shows the Oilers might not bring back Philip Broberg or Dylan Holloway

A group of users on X have made the realization that both Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway are no longer listed on the Edmonton Oilers roster on their official website.

While this is not official confirmation it could be a good hint as to where things are heading over the next 24 hours. When the Edmonton Oilers made those pair of trades bringing in Vasily Podkolzin and Ty Emberson many still assumed at least one if not both of Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg would have their contracts matched.

Now with this new information, it seems quite likely that both players could be heading to St. Louis to begin the next stage of their careers with the Blues.
