The season is less than two months away, with training camps set to open in four weeks, and Boston Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman still has no contract.

Fans of the Boston Bruins had it great for so long when their team had the best goalie duo tandem in the entire NHL in Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman. A piece of their heart was torn apart when the team traded Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators at the end of June, but fans were hopeful that Swayman would have been able to carry the load. Now it appears that there's absolutely no progress being made in contract talks.
Boston Bruins media outlet by the name of "Bruins Network" on X have revealed some shocking news that fans of the team may not like to hear. It appears that Jeremy Swayman and his agent have basically been incognito, with barely a word heard from them in this process. It seems as though the Bruins and GM Don Sweeney have been willing and ready to have discussions, but that Swayman and his camp have been very skimpy about this whole process.
Fans are defending Jeremy Swayman, saying this is Sweeney's fault for not having taken the time to sign him during last season, and instead opting to push it out until this summer.
Jeremy Swayman played in 44 games for the Bruins last season and won 25 of those, while posting a 2.53 GAA and a .916 save percentage. The team was really counting on him to be there for likely 60 games this season, however the way things are looking, he may not even be there for one.
