Olympian Jordan Chiles has just found out that she will have to return her bronze medal after some controversy, so she will now be abandoning all social media.

American gymnast Jordan Chiles is not in a great state of mind right now as she has just been the subject of some major controversy at the Olympic Games in Paris. After her coach submitted a protest four seconds too late to have her score changed, the judges have determined that although they did initially change her score into a 3rd place finish, they realized that because it was submitted four seconds too late, she will have to return her medal. This is all too much drama for Chiles, so she will be taking a break from the public eye and go into hiding.

Jordan Chiles says that she has to take this much needed break to get her mental health back in order, as this has taken a huge toll on her personal and professional life.

This isn't the first controversy at the Olympics this year. It seems as though these Games are the most controversial we have ever seen before. It all started with the opening ceremonies when many fans thought that it was depicting blasphemy with the imitation of The Last Supper.

Following the opening ceremony controversy, we kept hearing about horror stories regarding the cleanliness in the Olympic Village, where some athletes were seen sleeping on the streets due to the unsanitary conditions in their bedrooms.

Now that the Olympics are coming to a close, many will remember it for their country's success in the medal count, however there will always be a dark cloud hanging over these games due to all of the controversy, with the latest one being Jordan Chiles' medal disaster.
