The Edmonton Oilers may lose their shot at the Stanley Cup tonight against the Florida Panthers, and former NHL referee Tim Peel is blaming Stuart Skinner.

Stuart Skinner has been alright for the Edmonton Oilers in these playoffs, but their explosive offense powered by Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Zach Hyman, as well as puck-carrying defenseman Evan Bouchard, have won them their games.
In the Stanley Cup Finals, the offense isn't working, so the goaltending is far more crucial. In a matchup against Sergei Bobrovsky, who's playing the best hockey of his career, he is certainly the lesser netminder.
Former NHL referee Tim Peel is very vocal on social media, and he has fired a shot at Stuart Skinner for his performances:
I'm not blaming Stuart Skinner but this is the Stanley Cup Final. 4 goals on 19 shots is not good enough! #LetsGoOilers #TimeToHunt
Tim Peel equally wondered whether the Dallas Stars could have taken down the Florida Panthers.
Looks like that delayed flight really hurt the #TimeToHunt Must have been rough being delayed eating shrimp and steak with a glass of 🍷 What a disappointing SCFinal! Would #TexasHockey have given the Cats a better challenge? This is a team that could quite easily repeat next year! #LetsGoOilers
The Edmonton Oilers have collapsed over the last three games, and nothing short of a miracle could save them now. We will see if the Florida Panthers call it a season tonight.
