NHL's Player Safety to have hearings with Brad Marchand and Marcus Foligno

Both Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins as well as Marcus Foligno of the Minnesota Wild have been offered hearings by the NHL's Department of Player Safety (DoPS).

Marchand, 33, has been offered an in-person hearing over Zoom for roughing/high-sticking Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry. The time of the hearing has yet to be decided. This means that Marchand, who has had plenty of run ins with the DoPS before, will be looking at a suspension north of five games for Tuesday nights incident.

Foligno, 30, has been offered a hearing for kneeing Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry. The date and time like Marchand's has yet to be decided. After fighting Lowry and falling to the ice, Foligno delivered a knee to the head of Lowry. He received a two-minute minor at the time for unsportsmanlike conduct.
