In the NFL, Miami Dolphins star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa may be forced to retire after a possible traumatic brain injury sustained last night in a game.

Yesterday, the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills faced off in what turned out to be a complete disaster for Tagovailoa and his teammates.

Josh Allen and the Bills won 32-10. The offense was all over the place, and the defense capitalized on massive mistakes made by Tagovailoa to leave Miami with the loss.

Unfortunately, that's not the biggest disappointment of the night for Dolphins fans.

Indeed, Tagovailoa had to leave the game in the second half after receiving a hit to the head. Minutes later, he was ruled out of the game with a concussion.

In his career, the QB has suffered from multiple head injuries, but this one could be career-ending.

In the following video, you'll see that his right arm shows the "fencing posture," which indicates a severe concussion.

Head injuries are a serious issue in all professional contact sports. They can not only ruin careers but also lives.

At only 26 years old, it would be a real tragedy to see such a talented player forced to retire. However, if he stops playing, it wouldn't be too late for him to settle into a coaching or management position. On the other hand, if he returns and suffers another concussion, the consequences could be catastrophic for his future.
