The 29-year-old forward, who has also played for the Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks, and Detroit Red Wings, was an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Originally from Pizen, Czechia, Dominik Kubalik had a tough run last season in Ottawa where he was only able to score 11 goals and get 4 assists in 74 games, which were his fewest numbers since he arrived in the NHL.
Dominik Kubalik burst onto the NHL scene in his rookie year in 2019-20, putting up 30 goals, 16 assists, and 46 points in 68 games with the Blackhawks. He has played in 357 career games and has totaled 93 goals and 83 assists.
Dominik Kubalik had two seasons of experience in Switzerland prior to joining the NHL, including a fantastic 2018-19 season with Ambri-Piotta where he scored 35 goals and 49 assists in 75 games. Now he is set to return to more familiar ice in Switzerland, which will hopefully rejuvenate his career once more.
