Training camp is just over a month away in Toronto, and now GM Brad Treliving has teased that the roster may not yet be set ahead of a crucial season.

This off-season has been a fairly successful one in Toronto, as they replaced Sheldon Keefe with Craig Berube while adding Chris Tanev, Anthony Stolarz and Oliver Ekman-Larsson to the back end. Now, things may not be over, as Brad Treliving teased in a recent interview that in fact, they may not be done making moves yet even with training camp approaching.

We're not set yet!

With the likes of Nick Robertson still not happy with their role and several veterans clogging up the bottom-six (David Kampf, Calle Jarnkrok, Ryan Reaves), the pieces can easily be put together. Toronto's top-six is one of the most talented in the NHL, but the production on the back end has been lacking, and with several new defenseman in, if they can find a star on the third line, this could be Toronto's year.

It has been well established that Treliving doesn't like to make earth shattering deals at the trade deadline, so he could look to get this roster set by opening night, and if he can find a buyer for Robertson in the form of a more established player for the bottom-six, confidence in this group will remain incredibly high.
