Wally Buono hired Dan Dorazio in 1998 while he was the head coach and general manager of the Calgary Stampeders. Dorazio won the Grey Cup championships in 1998 and 2001. Both he and Buono switched allegiances and signed with the BC Lions in 2003. He then spent many seasons there as the team's offensive line coach.
Dorazio was getting ready for the upcoming season on the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds' coaching staff, but sadly that won't be the case anymore. Dan Dorazio was also the co-offensive coordinator for Simon Fraser University in 2020.
Dan Dorazio also spent time with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2015 and the Toronto Argonauts in 2019. He also spent 26 years in the NCAA before coming to Canada.
Our deepest condolences go out to all of Dan's family and friends during this terrible time.
