Cody Glass has just been acquired by the Pittsburgh Penguins from the Nashville Predators and fans are already chirping him. He has fired back on social media.

The Nashville Predators recently traded Cody Glass along with a 2025 3rd round pick and a 2026 6th round pick to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Jordan Frasca.
There were already some Penguins fans who were not happy with this move. The reason for this is likely because Cody Glass had so much potential as a 7th overall draft pick during the 2017 NHL Entry Draft in Vegas, but all of that potential has never been lived up to, as Pittsburgh will already be the 3rd team he joins.
These stats have led to Cody Glass being called out on social media, with one fan referring to him as a "scrub". Cody Glass fired back by telling the fan that he needs to give him a chance first before passing any judgement.
With comments like this, Cody Glass may have a fire lit under him, ready to prove the haters wrong as he is definitely looking for a bounce back year. Glass played in 41 games last year for the Predators and only managed to score six goals and 13 points. In his NHL career, he has managed just 29 goals and 71 points in 187 games.
After having had such incredible numbers in his junior career, Cody Glass is really hoping to get his NHL numbers going, and here's hoping the fans in Pittsburgh will give him a little time to prove his worth.
