TRADE: #MNWild acquires Jakub Lauko and Pick #122 from #NHLBruins for Pick #110 and Vinni Lettieri
The Boston Bruins add a depth forward in Vinni Lettieri with plenty of NHL experience. After trading up to pick 110 they also selected Elliott Groenewold.
With the 110th pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, the #NHLBruins select Elliott Groenewold
Welcome to Boston, Elliott!
The Minnesota Wild in return get Bruins prospect Jakub Lauko who was highly thought of but failed to break through in Boston. They also received pick #122 which they are getting ready to select within the next few minutes.
The Bruins move off of a prospect that likely wasn't going to make their roster and add a roster player to fill their bottom-six with a new prospect as well. The Wild continue building their prospect pool with the pick and Jakub Lauko.
As this deal continues to play out it will be interesting to see if this fresh start for Jakub Lauko will lead to a role in the NHL.
