Brad Marchand is well known for playing hockey on the line of dirty and clean, however, last night it looked like he was on the receiving end of such a play. During the Bruins game against the Sabres, Rasmus Dahlin delivered a massive reverse hit on Marchand that flattened him to the ice. The hit was borderline whether it was clean or not, however, Bruins players took exception.
Unfortunately for Sabres fans, the night would get a lot worse after this. The Bruins would eventually go on to win 5-2, and arguably worse, one of the Sabres' best players was injured. Tage Thompson was on the receiving end of an awkward trip that forced him out of the game.
