The New York Rangers have a storied history, but perhaps no one has effected their franchise more in recent times than star goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who was forced into retirement a few years ago.
The star goaltender never quite managed to get his Cup in New York, even after being so close in 2014, but in 2021 he was forced to retire after having open heart surgery.
New York's King retired with a stellar record of 459-310-96 with a .918 save percentage and 2.43 GAA to go along with a Vezina Trophy and several All-Star appearances, and now, the King returns to the ice.
Lundqvist has stayed busy since retirement, joining TNT as a full-time analyst, but for those fans who have missed him on the ice, they'll now get one more opportunity to see the legendary goaltender.
