Coyotes owner says new arena with less than a third of the capacity of the old one 'will be packed'

The Arizona Coyotes recently announced that they would be playing at Arizona State's new multi-purpose arena for the next while, and their owner Xavier A. Gutierrez offered an interesting statement relating to the new deal.

«It's going to be loud. It's going to be packed. This is the experience that we know our fans, our partners, our players, everyone associated with the Coyotes are absolutely going to be excited to be a part of.»

Considering the arena's capacity will only be around 5,000 fans, they better hope that it is packed night in and night out, or else there may be more trouble brewing in the desert. It's interesting that the team's owner believes that everyone will love the smaller arena, especially the players, since there will be much less people at the games. Only time will tell whether or not this decision comes back to bite them or not.
