The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced on Saturday evening that Ottawa Senators forward Austin Watson will have a hearing tomorrow for interference on Boston Bruins defenceman Jack Ahcan.

The incident occurred nearly half-way through the first period on Saturday afternoon. Ahcan was in the corner with the puck and went to rim it up the boards. After the puck is gone, Watson comes in and delivers a hit to Ahcan that catches him in the head. Watson received two minutes for interference, while Bruins forward Anton Blidh was given two minutes for roughing while coming to Ahcan's defence.

Watson, 30, has appeared in 31 games this season for the Senators where he's tallied three points (two goals, one assist), fifty-five penalty minutes and is a minus-eight.

The Department of Player Safety's ruling will have to come pretty early on Sunday as the Ottawa Senators are back in action at 12:30 p.m. ET against the Washington Capitals.
